Coping while living with OCD

Have you ever wondered why some people cope better and seem more resilient in the face of adversity?  


There are often a variety of factors that determine if one will rise above their stressors :

Both their mental and physical wellbeing.

Supports they can reach out to maybe in the way of the family (often assumed but not always ideal), friends, significant others, colleagues, spiritual advisors, support groups or anyone else they see as supports.


Previous trauma/experience has taught adaptive coping strategies to use going forward 

Having a life-work balance.

Self-care.

Accepting of challenges. 

Getting plenty of sleep.

Learning to say NO.
